Typical post workout water retention :-)
It was definitely the 80 Air Squats that did me in. That was probably the worst "booty pain" I've had in a while. LOL
And, yes we still get to increase cals by 2%, especially with the calorie output we've had this week.
The thing about those Met-cons is they fool ya.
4 Rounds of
20 Air Squats
10 weighted sit ups
5 Burpees
It really doesn't seem all that much when you look at it. The mind says, "pshh...Air squats are easy, and with no weights? Not a problem. 10 sit ups? I can do that in my sleep. And, 5 Burpees? Bring it on!"
But, then ya start doing the math the third round in. That's 80 Air Squats, 40 weighted sit ups, and maybe it's only 20 Burpees, but the core is already fatigued from the sit ups.
But, then that's the beauty of a Met-con. If one can make it through all 4 rounds - ya get to say "Yeah- that's right dang it! I made it through 80 air squats, 40 sit-ups, and topped it off with 20 burpees!"
What I can say is this girl's back end doesn't care, either way...it's saying "Prepare to suffer" LOL
And, this tummy is saying "FEED ME!"
