Yesterday was a mini disaster...

Our toilet overflowed not once, but twice. It was fixed, but not completely reattached to the floor. So I can flush, but you have to be very careful how you sit on it. And, because it's now Saturday, no one will come to finish the job 'til Monday. *sigh*

Because the toilet had to be taken right off the floor, the water in the bathroom was shut off for a big part of the day. So that meant so showers or any kind of use of the bathroom.

I felt like crap...what with all these men trooping into and out of my place, I got a major headache that felt like the whole top of my head was just going to blow right off. And we don't have any painkillers in the house right now. *sigh*

So I ended up lying in bed, with the covers over my head for most of the day.

By the time I felt well enough to slink out, I was still feeling like a big suck. So I do the one thing I always do when I feel like a big suck - I made myself a GIANT bowl of air popped popcorn and drenched it with butter and settled in to watch Gone With the Wind.

I didn't realize what a huge dietary mess that added up to until this morning when I plugged those items into my food diary...*eeep*

Thankfully, I'm feeling more like myself today...ready to face the world and attack my P90X challenge! (The one I had to skip...guess yesterday was my rest day...) I can also shower today and pop out to the library and grab my new books and pick up a couple things so I can make minestrone soup for dinner tonight!
