I had a good 1 hour workout this morning: 20 min. weights 20 min. bike/ 5.8 miles (about 3.5 minutes per mile) 20 min run/ 1.9 miles
I decided I need to get back to "brick" training which is combining 2 types of training together at least once a week. It is hard on the muscles to go from biking to running, but is great preparation for the triathlon.
Here's a helpful visualization I have been doing: I am picturing myself in certain clothes and it helps me keep moving forward when I am tired. For instance, I sing on our praise team at church so once a month it is my turn to sing for our 3 services of over 2000 people- I had spent way too many times feeling too fat in my clothes and there is no where to hide in that case! I was picturing myself in my clothes and how I will feel in what I am wearing. It is a good visual tool to keep moving me toward getting toward how I want to look and feel in my clothes. So, I feel good having a good workout today and am feeling pretty fit right now. We will head out for dinner tonight which is always my downfall for losing weight, but I have to remember what I eat might be for all to see if my clothes are fitting too snug!!

Fabulous work out as usual! You definitely raise the bar for us when it comes to exercise. And that's a good thing! I'm sure you'll be singing slim and trim at church, too.

You're an ispiration. Loved your Biggest Looser connection. YEs, you CAN do it! Would love to see a pic of you crossing that triatholon line!
