Yesterday I did great UNTIL the afternoon and evening. I was so proud of myself. Eating homemade tomato soup with canned tomato's out of my garden. Thinking of my Mom who was buried a year ago from that very day and thinking about her homemade tomato soup and grilled cheese sandwiches. Sitting there eating took me back to my childhood.

It was a rough day but I tried to keep my mind off her passing. No brothers or sisters to talk to so needless to say I blew it. Pretzels, hard candy and even two chocolate kisses. Even though I stayed under my calories I felt so bad for messing up.

Today will be a different story. Eat healthy, eat healthy, eat healthy. Gosh am I in the Wizard of Oz?????????? lol

:( sorry it was a hard day for you--that is a tough one, BUT, you are aware to get right back on the wagon .... YOU CAN DO IT .... it could have been much worse ~~ you were aware and stayed under your calories !!! Proud of you !!

Hey Connie Well done you - you stayed within your calories so it was still a good day - I wouldn't say that was messing up at all (unlike me!!). Given the circumstances it was a tough day for you and you did extremely well - be proud that you stayed within your calories even with a few naughty bits :) I have no excuses and I went over my calories slightly:) Keep positive you are on the right track and have the right attitude. Go Girl!! Stay strong:)

Having you as a buddy has really helped me a lot. Hubby talks the talk but not walking the walk as well as he should. Yesterday he went to Toco Bell and got 3 beef nacho grillers for his lunch. He is trying and doing well for the most part but when he goes over he goes over!!!

So you should be even more proud as even with Hubby having his little distractions you are still staying on track - that is excellent!! BTW having you as a buddy is great for me too :)

You did well considering the feelings you were dealing with. This is a life change and little by little you become more used to eating the right way, a way you can accept. I used to be on low carb but now have changed to just healthy, normal foods, lots of vegetables and fruit as well. I don't eat refined carbs and sugar. That seems to work for me.
