I live in Arizona, well away from the ocean and I don't eat fish very often. Trout fillets are just about all, or canned tuna, salmon and sardines..
Do you eat the whole fish?? Eyes and head and all?? Are those the sprats?

Hi dboza, yes I eat them whole. I prepare sprats in vinegar with spices for about 3-4 days and then sprats are very soft - even heads and bones. I'm trying to eat fish everyday- sometimes twice a day 🤭
