Feeling so much better today! Body function is slowly coming back after the anesthesia is clearing out. Not feeling like such a balloon. I'm still trying to figure out which pain is which - between air in abdomen and surgery pain and hunger pain (all of which are manageable), it can get confusing. Was not hungry at all yesterday and could not get all the recommended liquid meals in, but no rush. As long as my body is healing and I have enough nutrition to function, I'll just take it slow. My scale is already taking notice! My incisions are tiny and they used glue, so I think there will be very little scarring - except for the larger one on my left side where the port probably is. I've been taking short walks down the walkway of my house, but today feels like a good day to take a little longer walk with my kids. Have a great day everyone!
