So, yesterday I was having my pre-op interview for surgery next week and during the interview one of the questions was what is your current weight. I was able to answer of course, but I had to stop and think first...and it felt really odd, in a good way, that that number didn't start with a 3......I was able to state the number in a proud matter of fact way instead of trying to hide and being ashamed, which to someone who's never been that heavy is something they could never understand.
Really missing the exercise. N E V E R! thought I'd say that! But I do. I miss the forward momentum. The way my body was changing for the better on a regular basis. Like many of you, there haven't been that many people that have noticed the weightloss until I hit about the 40lb. mark, but there have been enough along the way that have bolstered my enthusiasm. I'm thankful for them all.
This site is a god-send for me and obviously for so many others. Finally a tool to really track everything with a fair degree of accuracy. It's also wonderful to be connected to so many others going through the same thing and SUCCEEDING! Being true positive support for each other!
Whoo HOO! Have a great day.
