Trying to satisfy a junk food craving. "Big Mac" bowl (minus cheese). 348 calories. Next time I'm planning on using ground turkey to lower calories, and up lean protein. Maybe swap iceburg for romaine. Otherwise pretty satisfying and tasty.

It's an individual preference, of course. I'm always game to try something at least once so just sharing info😊

Does your grocery carry Impossible yet? Personally I think its the best tasting fake beef.

Harmonystarr, I'm not sure. My husband's been doing the shopping because I'm immunocompromised. Great thing to check though!

The impossible meat and is really high in calories. If I still ate meat I’d choose a grass fed lean ground beef over any fake ground beef. What brand is that big Mac sauce and can you share how many kcals and how much is one serving? Bowls looks delish!

Lowkeylife, for the sauce I just used thousand island dressing, which for me was similar enough. I've refined what I use a little bit since making this, but I believe it was just 3 oz hamburger, 1/2 cup shredded iceberg, a little more than a tbsp of thousand island (was going for 1 tbsp, but accidentally added a little more so I counted it at 1.5 tbsp), 1 pickle spears, and less than a tsp freeze dried chives. It came to around 348 calories. I recently made it again, but used 4 oz lean turkey, 1 oz sweet onions, 20 g kale, 2 pickle spears, 1 tbsp thousand island, 1 tsp freeze dried chives, (kale and onion were cooked with cooking spray, 1/4 tsp garlic powder, and 1/2 tsp salt). It came to 259 calories, and was more filling, even if it isn't as close to the original.
