And, today's official weigh in after Friday's surplus day....115 lbs. Down 2.4 lbs from yesterday. It's amazing how much water and waste can weigh isn't it? I'll do another weigh in tomorrow, but I've likely already burned through the glycogen stored in muscles and liver from yesterday's activity.
On another note - I just want to say thank you for everyone's input on yesterdays post. As much as you learn from the data, I am humbly learning from it as well. As much as it teaches me about bodies in general, it also teaches me how this body thrives and under what conditions it thrives best.
I took a caliper test this morning. It's not always easy to do because I do have some lose skin in my abdomen area, though admittedly not as much as I thought I would when I started body recomp. Building up the muscle really can make a difference with regards to filling out the loose skin.
Looks like I went down another point and it landed on the 7, which for my age and gender puts me at 19.4%. There is no certainty with these tests - they can all be off, but it does seem commensurate with my weight and build at this point. I readily understand I don't look like I weigh 112 lbs, and it's because of the muscle mass. I cannot convey HOW MUCH I LOVE THIS!!! In part, because I always viewed this kind of weight range as too small or too thin. But, that is not what I see when I look in the mirror at all. I just see a body that knows it wants to be strong and fit and I'm compelled to do whatever I can on its behalf to ensure it has what it needs to do just that :-)
I'll leave you all with one of my favorite quotes I read just recently. Felt like the universe was speaking straight to me when I came upon it...
Transcend - "There are no limits. There are only plateaus, and you must not stay there, you must go beyond them." - Bruce Lee
Have a beautiful, wonderful, blessed week everyone. I'll catch you next Saturday.
