What I have learned about my body that will help me stay slim forever.
1. I can cheat for a weekend, and it will take me two weeks to lose the weight.
2. I cannot eat bread or sugar because it turns into instant fat. I stall my weight loss, even if I am taking flu and cold medicine.
3. I loose weight faster if I drink decaf coffee. I need to drink 2 bottles of water a day to lose weight
4. Even when the scale shows that I have not lost weight, I can continue to lose inches.
5. I need less sleep when I weigh less
6. My body can lose about 10 - 12 lb of weight a month. After that, it is okay to cheat a little as long as I stay in Maintenance mode - because I won't lose more than 3lb a week.
7. I lose my weight all at once, not weekly.
8. Putting on an old pair of pants, and seeing how much smaller I am, is a great way to feel good about myself.
9. Weighing myself every morning keeps me motivated and helps me prevent cheating.
