I walked the Color Run on Sat morning. 5k. Tons of fun. No other exercise this weekend. I'm really struggling with my back. The radiating pain down my hip, hamstrings causes lots of pain. Stretching doesn't seem to help, I'll cont to stretch b/c it's good for my body but I don't necessarily feel any better.
I'm struggling with desserts, that's my downfall. And it doesn't have to be anything huge, even a small cookie is what i'm craving.
I also love my wine, 1 glass Mon-Thurs then Fri-Sun I split a bottle of wine with my husband. Lots of extra calories in alcohol - i know.

As long as you eat that cookie really slow & mindful, it won't hurt you. Have you ever tried a foamroller to relieve the pain? They don't cost a lot & the results can be great.

Hi There, thanks for the suggestion. I do have a foanroller and really like it. I try to lay on it most evenings and even roll on my IT bands which kills. I took my pilates class yesterday and walked on the treadmill for 17 minutes. (all the time I had before class) Today I'm going to walk 3 or 4 miles, weather pending. I try to keep moving and not let the pain stop me. Thanks for your response.
