Day 52. The math says I should be 11 pounds down. 1.5 pounds every 7 days. My brain says I should be down 25 pounds, 'Just look at what I've sacrificed!' My emotions say 'screw it I'm eating 1/2 gallon of french vanilla ice cream with a goopy topping!' But my motivators say: 1. I stopped putting on 1 pound a month. (1.5 pounds after 52 days!) 2. I reconfigured my diet to be much healthier in the long run. 3. My clothes fit much better, again. 4. I have a real, documented weight loss of 8.5 pounds from the very very first weight in, and 10.5 pounds from the highest weight recorded in 52 days. Add to that the 1.5 pounds I DIDNT gain and I am at a 10 to 12 pound weight loss for 52 days. Average that out.... 11 pounds. See the math above 11 pounds....
So, I'm not ahead, I'm not behind, I'm on a journey, a journey to 195 pounds of healthy me.
I hope that this hold true and by the next 40 days I will be at 210 pounds. (even now my mind says I should be able to 'beat that!' But if I trust the math, the data and enjoy the journey, I will weigh what I weigh when 9-1-2020 get here. (It better be under 210, though!!!!) lol
