I over-ate a couple of times this week; a busy weekend and there was an all-you-can-eat buffet where I didn't even try to pretend I could resist the desserts; this was followed by a day of being tired so again made bad food choices but instead of feeling guilty, I listened to my body and my body said I wasn't hungry the next day, so I fasted through breakfast and lunch and ate a very light dinner so by the next day I had reset and was back on track. I may be able to do this maintenance thing after all.
