Brenda Groth's Journal, 17 Oct 10

End of 14 days of induction, down 8 pounds on induction 10 pounds in total. After reading the new Atkins book I realize I'm one of those people that will require a lot longer in the Induction phase than most, so I'm staying in it for now anyway. Blood sugar is down but not controlled, blood pressure is in the normal range and lower but not as low as I would like it to be. Lost a few inches but not enough to feel comfortable with my losses, but not giving up. Believe I will at least attempt to stay in INDUCTION phase through the entire holiday season.

Good job Brenda! I am staying at Induction level for a while longer too. I feel fine eating at this level, don't feel deprived and I really need my BP/sugar to be better controlled. I'm not diabetic YET, but well on my way. The nice thing about Induction too, is that if we go over the carb limit every now and then, we'll probably still lose :) yea! good luck!
