I have no clue about the 3am mystery. Almost everyone I know who has trouble sleeping it's the 3 hour

Before I started taking a sleeping pill I’d be most awake from 11-2 am. I’d pass out by 3am. A friend says 2-4am is her most awake time. She will take a sleeping pill and still wake up most night sometime between then.

I'm that way also with a pill.

That is so me. I try to stay up all day so I can sleep at night. I thought eventually the 7 pm to 7 am shifts I did for many years could be turned around. I have been retired for 2 years and it is not resolving yet.

I wake up at 3 on the dot often times. It's very odd.

If I didn't have to work, I'd stay up all night all the time. I don't sleep all day anymore though. Too many things to do. Long weekends are the hardest. But that said, I don't eat/drink any caffeine after 2pm, I have removed most external sources of light in the house as best I can, if I do wake up, I absolutely will not look at any clocks and I try not to look at any lights (oven clock, thermostat, etc.) and I have a white noise machine (speaking of, where's Fritzy??? It's been a week) that does not "loop" which is a completely different way of obsessing and all these things have helped.

I used to listen to white noise on YouTube until they started with the commercials.

Fellow nite owls, that’s what you all are? Yes on weekends my white noise is the ceiling fan OR counting the wife’s snore’s! Yes just as good as sheep! Lol. Best sleep is on the truck during the week. 500 diesel horses up front sing a sweet lullaby. Wind may gently Rock the truck at times, but rain is the best...... Getting sleepy... 😂
