I will do better if Melissa stops bringing donuts home. I also know my biggest problem with weight loss is my addiction to soda, so I will work hard on this. Also need to exercise even though it causes pain in my back. maybe after awhile it will improve.

I learned that by switching to diet soda you lose 12 pounds a year. :)

Oh and I can honestly say that it only takes about a week or two and you can not even drink a "real" soda!

I thought of this, and told my DR. that I was going to switch. He told me diet soda is worse for you then regular. Something about, it makes your body produce to much insulin and store fat. He said drink water, nothing with artificial sweeteners. idk, All I do know is that, I want a Mt Dew. 8)

There is something about the artificial sweetener. But do some research. I've heard it causes cancer and other things but I've been drinking it for years now. I don't understand how it could make you produce insulin. There are no carbs or calories??
