I've been able to stay focused on this lifestyle change for almost 2 months now. I've mentally accepted that I can't eat any carbs from anything other than vegetables and low carb alternatives. Cherry season is upon us and a small handful sets off all the cravings for sweets that threw me off last summer when I was making my jams and canning fruits. I did cut back again and have the cravings under control. My foot surgery was successful and I am slowly getting back to the gym 2-3 times a week. I feel better than I have in a long time.
