Hello everyone!

I am feeling MUCH better and am in great spirits.

My doctor told me that I could re-start my diet on Monday without complications.

He just was worried I wouldn't eat enough since I have lost so many nutrients in my body.

I have been pro-active in forming a low carb cookbook that I keep on my computer in it's own little folder...this way, I can try something new every other day so that I won't get bored...which I so easily do.

I should be able to return to light exercise Monday as well...and will be hitting the gym to do some cardio. I probably won't start weight lifting again until next week...

Kinda depressing, but my health is number one in my book.

Well, I am off to take a bath! XOXO

Glad you're o.k. girl!! Good luck on the diet. Maybe the time off will give you a fresh outlook on the low carb!! I keep recipes on my computer as well... I keep up with my computer better than a notebook, LOL. I'm proud of ya for not giving up. The most important thing is that we keep trying for as long as it takes!!

Make sure you take your vitamins. That will help build up those nutrients, too. My cousin had a really bad case of samonella poisioning. When she was recovering someone recommended that she eat yogurt every day as a way to introduce GOOD bacterias back into her system. She swears that the yogurt was what made her get better so quickly. Greek yogurt is fairly low in carbs, so it may be something to think about. But whatever you decide, go slowly. Your body needs you to be gentle!! And I really admire your wanting to "get back into it"!
