Chenyne1's Journal, 24 Sep 10

You know what I don't like about this site, when you are recording what you've eaten for the day and you can't find the appropriate food in their data base that matches up to what you've eaten. Especially for home cooked food. That is aggravating as hell. How do you determine how much fat and calories is in something you've cooked at home that has multiple ingredients? I hate that!

You have to enter each ingredient and how much you ate, like how many servings of each that you ate. I do it by looking at labels while I am cooking and if the item is not on here I manually add it using the label. Then I estimate how much I ate of each ingredient. Sounds HARD, but after you get your staple foods entered once, they will just always be on the list to click and put how much you ate.
