Well it had to happen sometime. Fell off the wagon yesterday after having too much wine over lunch with friends. Ended up eating a ton of ice cream (threw out what I didn't eat, at least, so it's gone), a couple Atkins bars and whatnot.

Today I am back on and I am trying something radical: giving up Diet Dr Pepper and drinking only water. Also, no processed Atkins junk with fake "Net" carbs. I don't believe it. I think it's good to have one as a treat every now and then but not every day and not while I take a super serious run at optimal ketosis. I hate giving up the aspartame, it's really tough. I'm hoping my palate will adjust and learn to enjoy water with my food rather than something with flavour.

Goal this week will be to stay under 30 actual carbs per day. Definitely under 20 net carbs.
