Had a great time last night catching up with my friend and I am so excited to get started on working out. I think we are going to go Friday night for the first time (I have to go sign up and all that before then) and then we already have a couple classes that we are going to go to together. She has some good ideas and I am excited to learn. One more step closer to the new and healthy me :)

I got home last night and was excited about getting started so I cleared the clothes hanging from my eliptical... ya I know... and turned it on . I have never been able to go on the machine for longer than 5 minutes before I had to stop and take a break. Well... I got on it and pushed myself through 20 minutes! It was hard and after about 10 minutes I was so ready to stop but I didn't. I just kept watching the timer and kept going. I also did it in intervals where I was pushing harder for 30 seconds to a minute at different periods. When I got off I felt nauseated and wobbly but so good!

I am making the goal for myself to get on that machine everyday, regardless of time or what I have going on and push myself for at least 20 minutes. My family is going to have to wait and not interupt me! I think I will put a sign on my door that says "Mom is working out, go ask Dad!" LOL

Scale is still stalled but oh well, not gonna stress about it. I know I am eating well, and feeling great, and that is what I am going to focus on.

Weight will plateau every now and then. Just keep eating healthy and working out. The pounds will eventually come off

eaeting healthy and working out even if you don't see the scale more is still healthy for you. And you are doing great. Lol, I think we all have had clothes thrown over our workout equipment. I think the hardest part for me is keeping my eyes off the timer. They should make the time not show for 10 minutes at a time and that would help me keep going.

I like the sign idea. Let me know how that works out for you. :) Mine can not read yet.. but it is worth a shot.

Thanks guys. @ Ceebee... I was thinking that this morning too. My youngest one can't read yet but he knows what a stop sign looks like! I think I am going to print a big stop sign and then show him it on my door. Tell him if he sees it on my door he can't knock, he has to go to another grown up or his big sister. He is pretty smart, I hope it works.
