I hit the gym today big-time. A full weights workout followed by a stint on the treadmill. My physio gave me the green light to start running again last week, and suggested I try the Couch to 5K programme. That's how I originally got into running, so I jumped in and did my second 'week 2' run on the treadmill this morning.
My knee remains sore around the MCL area, same pain that I had there pre-surgery; I flagged this to the physio and she checked that the repair was still intact, it is so she's told me to push through it. So far so good.
