This entry has absolutly nothing to do with weight loss. I can't freakin sleep. How stupid is that. I would give my right arm to be able to sleep nonstop for 8or 9 hours a night for a week. I dont know how I am surviving on 5 hours one night, 3 the next and then 6. I am not worried about anything, dont do drugs, dont drink or smoke, dont exercise to late. All the questions the dac asked, the answer was no and he cant give me an answer. Did the thyroid testing 2 times, but only in the blood, and both times got the same answer. I am trying to get him to do the other one, dont know what it is or how they do it, but I know there is another one. He says it is expensive and insurance wont pay for it. Well, i dont give a coons ass. I want to know what the hell is wrong with me. I have the crappiest insurance in the world anyways, and have to pay for most of the treatments and visits, so why not another bill to add to the pile.
I have classic symptoms, losing hair, irritated lots, memory is fuzzy, walk into things all the time, bruise eaisly, eyes are just yuk, and I gain weight just by thinking of food, and I swear, i would freeze to death in hell. Oh and I have these very unattractive rather nasty skin tag thingys. I have cut a few off, but they hurt and i think they grow pack with an attitude. ok, rant done......for now.

I dont have a clue about how old you may be, but all those symptoms I remember happening to me at the beginning of menopause. Let me say here, I may sound wrong, but everything you describe has happened to me, even the testing for thyroid. You may think you are not old enough, but from what I have heard lately, you are never to young to start peri-menopause. Dr. Northrup, was on TV the other day. Her books are what got me through during those "days". Added together they sound pretty serious. I would suggest you read her book, then find a Gynocologist with similar theories. I used an Alternative Practitioner, she helped me a lot during the early stages. There is so much info out there on this topic, I know you can get help. I even had the skin tags. The first time the doctor burned them off, it was horrible, and took a long time to heal. This last time, I want to a Dermatologist and he just snipped them off, only red for a few days, not grown back. I sympathize with you and had to reply after reading your post. You are doing a great job with weight loss, and I would bet $$$ that your sleeplessness is hormonal. The 50 pounds off could be changing things inside as well as outside. RANTING IS GOOD EVERY NOW AND THEN. Keep up the good work.

Thanks for the info, I will definatly check it out. I also thought of that but never seriously considered it, and boy am I stupid, cause i know that my mom and grandma went thru it early, like in the 40s. I am a dweeb, I turn 40 in December, and I will garantee ya that I am gonna get that checked out.
