Day 3 is almost over and I made it! I'm surprised I'm not going nuts with cutting out diet soda, coffee, and well... cake, cookies, beer, wine, cheese, meat, candy, bread, popcorn...lol. I actually feel pretty good and have had a great energy level today. I have not been hungry and my cravings have not been too bad. I had one of my oatmeal muffins for breakfast, an apple for snack, a bowl of home-made lentil soup for lunch (okay...that soup was pretty bad...edible and that's about it - going to have to try to find another recipe tomorrow. I had a banana for a snack - for dinner I had a baked sweet potato with some of my homemade vegetarian chili on top - that chili was the really good - my husband ate a bowl of it and said, "Baby, you can't take this chili on a plane...'cause it's the bomb." Got the recipe from the fatsmash forum. For desert had some blueberries with a couple of spoonfuls of fat free jogurt (sweetened with a little bit of splenda. (I had the blueberries in the freezer and took a bowl of them out to defrost yesterday) Oh - munched on sliced up cucumber while making dinner for my husband and daughter. I'm proud of myself for planning ahead (like buying that thermos for my soup yesterday to take to work with me today) and actually cooking for a change. I usually don't like cooking - so I'm surprised that I've been doing so much of it and actually enjoying it!
