I'm excited about this week. I get to put Russell's plan to the test. Yesterday was my first spike day and I wasn't able to double my BMR of 2177. I almost got there, but not quite I think the job was done anyway, lol. So, today and the rest of the week, I'll keep it at 1374 calories a day. I'm looking forward to see the results.
I've updated my profile pic...I was part of a Mary Kay makeup class last night and I felt purdy. LOL, so I took a pic and thought it was a suitable replacement.
Tonight is a gym and roomie night. My roommate and I will hit up the gym together and cook a nice tilapia meal while watching Why Did I Get Married Too? through the cable's On Demand. So happy it is available there the first day the DVD is released. :-)
Have a great day buddies!

Sounds like last night was a good night! I'm loving the bright profile pic! Very beautiful Mel! I'm also going to incorporate a spike day once a week. Starting Sun, 9/5 I'll be going for 3000 calories & the rest of my days try to stay around 1600. Hope we both have great results w/ it = )

Once I start up again, I was thinking about also doing a spike day..so can you eat "anything" you want that day?

Thanks Janisha, I hope so too! :-) Steph, according to Russell's website, I think you can. I mean, I ate taco bell monday, but with going back down to my normal eating (and exercise, of course) the rest of the week, I'm seeing a loss....so, so far so good. I'm changing my spike day and weigh-in day to Sunday, so I'm looking forward to the total amount oh and having some chicken fingers, lol! I'm purchasing is book today...looking forward to giving it a read. :-)

Yeah, now that I am realy not eating anything, i am doing research on what I can do. I don't really want to call it looking diet because you sometime fall off those but the fact that you can eat anything for one day a week sounds great. I was also looking at the Zig Zag Diet as well which is pretty muc the same thing. You have a weekly average for example 1700 per day and you manipulate then with 4 days below average and 3 days above to trick your metabolism. I kinda like that I can have my weekends and one day during the week to kinda have a larger meal or so and still keep to have a deficit since I am averaging 1700. We will see. I am looking forward to going back to my spinning class and incorporating more weight training. Look forward to seeing how it works and I will DEF live vicariously with that chiggen throw some ranch and hot sauce on it...MAN See NOW I am hungry. lol
