Well, this is my second day on the FatSmash - I really hope this works,meaning I stick to it. I noticed I've had headaches from no coffee/soda. It's so tough to drink WATER all of the time -I actually made a pot of coffee this morning out of habit...and because I really wanted a cup. I opted for a cup of tea instead. LIke the book says, if you cheat, you're only cheating yourself. I had no idea how much I love coffee. I'm in the middle of making some oatmeal muffins (got the recipe from another fatsmash site - they are really good - I made them Sunday night and my husband loves them. This time I added more fruit, so I hope the recipe turns out okay. I think the secret to sticking to this diet is to have the foods available that you can eat. I made a bean soup Sunday night and it was great to have a bowl of soup when I got home from work yesterday - I was starving. It helps to know that phase 1 is only 9 days - so looking forward to coffee. I love coffee. And a Diet Pepsi. I'm not craving those things as badly as I thought I would though. I told my husband that if I can quit smoking cold turkey, I should be able to do this.
I'm not going to weigh until I'm done with the 9 days of phase 1. I know how discouraging it is to watch the scale fluctuate.
