Just thought I would post a quick note...
I went to the health food store today and asked about wheatgrass. While there I was also looking for a good multi-vitamin. I talked to one fo the gals that works there, and she told me that if you want fresh wheatgrass, the quickest and cheapest way is to just go to their deli and have them make you a shot of it. It costs $1.55 a shot. OR, you can buy yourself a juicer, Costco has Jack Lalane's juicer for $95.99, and buy fresh wheatgrass sprouts and juice it yourself. However, she said that it takes a lot of wheatgrass to get a shot of it.
The other option she showed me was a powder version of the wheatgrass. I was about to buy that when I saw one that said "Vitamineral Green", made by HealthForce Nutritionals. I thought perhaps it was the best of both worlds, multi-vitamine and wheatgrass, but it's not. She said it doesn't necessarily have multi-vitamins added but it does have a lot of beneficial greens in it that provide a multitude of benefits. It provides probiotic, detoxifies, and supports several functions of the body.
I decided to give it a try. She says it gives you a burst of energy, which is also what I was looking for. When I found out about all the benefits from wheatgrass, to include appetite suppresant and weightloss aide, I was convinced that this is definetly something to try out! Natural and good for you!
The bottle I purchased is a 16 day supply. So, over the next 2 weeks, I hope to see a positive change in my energy levels and hopefully weightloss.
Anyway, just had to share that real quick.
