Doing this vegetable, fruit and nuts only "detox" for a week that my personal trainer recommended, but Oh boy I am conked! I feel horrible! Tired and I haven't been able to go to the gym in 4 days. I did lose 3lbs, but I hope this doesn't last. He said I would feel awful on day 2 and 3 but I wasn't expecting this. Especially since I am a vegan and I thought since I eat a ton of fruits and veggies all the time it would be easy. I guess I didn't realize how many starches and grains I was eating.

I tried doing a juice fast once. I made it 3 or 4 days, lost 7 pounds, but was sooo tired, and it really messed with my stomach (I think that may have been because I don't have a gallbladder, though). Good luck, and I hope you feel better!

Thanks Alliecat! I do, by the end of the week it wasn't too bad, but I am glad to be able to add in some starches and proteins now.
