Day 2 of a planned 2 days of ‘water’ fasting
Got through day 1 of water fasting. Only coffee and green tea. My stomach was still full of food digesting, and I had a massively busy day at work, so it was not hard-at-all.
Today, a different story. I won’t be ‘hungry’, because for me, when I wake up, I am never hungry until ‘after’ I eat (when I have falling blood sugar), but, I won’t feel ‘full’.
It is ‘not feeling full’ that I have to ‘grind it out’ for the day.
I am not surprised I gained a pound yesterday even though I was fasting. Also, over the last 7 days I have a 2,000 calorie deficit.
The problem is I took in over 600 carbs over the weekend. Other people can burn that much glucose, I know from experience I can’t. This is why I knew that to balance out my weekend excess, I needed to fast.
