I never thought about recording my water intake because water has none or sometimes very few calories... When I am exercising I usually regret that I didn't drink much water during the day and for that reason I am going to start to control my water intake too...

Drinking water can be a "polemic" subject sometimes. I read in a scientific magazine that if you do not exercise at all you should only drink water when you are thirst to not overload your kidneys. However, if you exercise a lot, you should drink something between two and three liters every day...

I have to make myself drink water and I have a hard time remebering to drink anything. I have heard that you really don't need 8 glasses every day b/c your food has water in it as well. I think to each his own and you have to figure out how much you really need and can drink with out having to pee every 5 sec.

I agree with you! I am training for a 10K race and I really have to force myself to drink water. When I don't drink enough I just can't run and If I try it gives me an awful hadache. You really have to force yourself to drink if you are doing loads of exercises.

I absolutely have to record my water intake, even if no calories because I must get atleast 64oz in a day (8-8oz cups). That's my goal, to drink plenty of water each day to help me lose weight. I used to be addicted to Diet Pepsi ALL DAY - probably a Liter per day, so I'm trying to correct my past mistakes. lol (one of many) You'll do Gr8 in the 10k...I've only done the 5k but would love to increase my distance one day.
