I am concerned that I am not eating enough. I noticed that I am not hitting my minimum calories each day. Yesterday, I tried really hard to eat more. I added a more substantial snack (celery w/ cream cheese and green olives) and I ate a second Atkins bar after dinner, but I still don't think it was enough. I am going to have to really be sure to eat enough calories. I have been below 1000 most days.

The problem is that I am just not hungry. The Atkins food keeps me satisfied and I am not really all that hungry. I also realize that most of my food calories were from binge eating. I have learned to eat little meals and then binge secretly. So, I have to retrain myself how to eat meals.

Oh, and I am still not weighing in until Wed. So, I am not sure if the "weigh-in" numbers reflect my actual weight or not. I will find out on Wed!

This is a very common problem on Atkins. Try adding some olive oil, butter, and mayo to your meals. This will get the calories up without increasing the carb count.

I am having the same problem! I can get over 1000, but not up to the 1800 they recommend. I think I am going to shoot for 1500, that seems a good number. But its soo hard!

I try to average 1300 to 1400 a day.
