I have 4 kids, one is obese, the rest are small and petite.
My overweight child was diagnosed with a hormonal condition where the hormones that transfer to the brain stay in her fat cells and never tell her she is full. Anyone know of any good tricks or treatments for a child who ALWAYS feels hungry? I don’t want to put her on diet suppressors, because this is a lifetime struggle and she needs to learn how to manage it now. I do however fear for her, as she goes to middle school this year. Any suggestions?
