A couple of people asked about the diet I posted.
On the radio station 97.1 there is a nutrition show that comes on. The ladies name is Debbie Portell the owner of Integrity Training Systems. She specifically designed this diet for me. I went in and explained in detail all of my health issues and of course the fact that my main concern is my weight which was about 240 something pounds. She explained that you can heal yourself with food. In turn you can make yourself sick with the foods you choose to eat.
I had skin issues. I had a rash that would appear on different areas of my body and last a few hours and then disappear. It would itch and be red and bumpy. When I went to the doctor they gave me an epiPen said it is serious. They said you are allergic to something and this could get to the point that you may stop breathing. They had no idea what I am allergic to. I also have rosacea and get fever blisters at times which are skin problems that the doctors have no answer or cure for. Debbie did not guarantee that eating would cure me but she/we were hopeful that it would help.

There are a few changes I have made to this meal plan from the beginning:
1. I don’t usually eat vegetables the only exception is when I make a smoothie (not often) Spinach or kale
2. I don’t follow the meal suggestions. I just make sure to not eat anything that’s not on the list
3. I also do not measure any of the foods I eat. I prefer eat until I’m satisfied. I get hungry and I eat a lot. But on this plan I lost about 80 pounds over a years time. By the way that mysterious rash went away. I can’t remember the last fever blister I’ve had. Not saying I’m cured, just think I have reduced the occurrences. Honestly It’s hard to tell about the rosacea. I usually don’t know when my face gets red. So I’m not sure if my diet has helped with that.
