I was already unhappy with my weight BEFORE I went to culinary school as a baking and pastry student but after my first year of eating what I was learning to make and dining hall food I gained almost 50 pounds 😱 I’ve always had poor self esteem but gaining so much weight has made it so much worse, and I find myself feeling even more depressed. But I feel like I can make a change starting this summer by eating smarter and healthier as well as upping my exercise a bit at a time. Next school year I’ll be living in an apartment style dorm with a kitchen so I’ll be able to control what goes into the meals I’m eating.
