Hey guys! So I recently found out I am pregnant. My husband and I are super excited but I’m struggling to know what to eat. I feel like I’m surviving off bread which I know can’t be good but it’s one of the only things that doesn’t make me sick. Anyone have any advice for what I can eat that would be a better alternative and not make me sick 🤢🤮. I definitely already know that I shouldn’t restrict myself with my calorie intake too much. I also know that I don’t need to eat for two either. 🤦🏼♀️... My main goal for this pregnancy is to be healthy, active and to keep my weight in the advised parameter. Any advice would be happily excepted. Thank you guys in advance.

Maybe smoothies with protein powder? Or make it with Greek yogurt for added nutrition.

My recipe
1 C frozen strawberries or blueberries
1 individual container nonfat vanilla Greek yogurt
1/2 TBS peanut butter
1/2 scoop Atkins vanilla protein powder
Milk to consistency-about 1/4 to 1/2 C

Consult with your physician. She/he work with these issues all day every day.

Congratulations! And well, you have to eat the food your baby wants. It's normal to be nauseous the first trimester. You should not be on a big calorie deficit when pregnant, but also depends on how tall your are, the doctor will approve a calorie deficit if you are overweight while pregnant. So talking with your doctor about it would be great.
