I've followed the South Beach Diet, more or less, since 2009, when I lost some post-pregnancy weight. I find it's pretty easy to follow and maintain and, overall, promotes a healthy diet. When the pounds creep back on, I tend to take a few days at Phase I, but then move to Phase II a little earlier when I miss oatmeal, crackers, or a glass of wine. Good luck with your diet, telle73!
