Just venting because I need to do so.

It's 4 pm and I haven't eaten lunch yet. Wegman's Instacart delivered my groceries 1-1/2 hour late and missing my bottled water. The delivery person did not give me a hard copy receipt and the packer made some unauthorized substitutions that were more expensive and larger sizes than I needed. And the frozen stuff, refrigerated items were all packed together so I had to put everything away immediately. Since I have COPD which causes severe respiratory issues, I do not have the strength to put away a big order at one time so usually, I save the groceries for later when I'm more rested.

After speaking to the customer service rep at Instacart and then his supervisor and getting nowhere, I am still out of water and cannot get it until Tuesday when my aide arrives,

So, at 3:45 and starving, I broke down and ordered a cheesesteak from my favorite delivery place. By the time it arrives, it will be 4:15 pm and it will have to serve as dinner too because I don't want to go over my planned amounts. and sodium limitations.. One good thing is that I skipped the french fries ad still did my walking and arm exercises. No reason to punish myself any further.


Until bedtime, no more food. Tomorrow will be a better day..





When I wrote down this meal, I was horrified to see how the sodium, carbs, fat and calories ruined my day, After arguing with two customer service people at Wegman's, I was even too fatigued to make lunch. '
