If you are FAT - it is likely that you have an addiction to food in general. Addiction needs careful care and if you aren't careful you'll end up FAT again and again. So its time to ask yourself. Are you fat, with an addiction or have you just let it go a bit and need to shed 10 lbs. Because there is a massive difference.

So true. I love to bake. It is okay if i don't eat any of it. But if I have one cookie, then I want another and another. I seem to have a bit of an addiction in this way. What is interesting is that if I have less sugar in my life, the addictive cycle is much more manageable. It is not nearly as strong and I can step back a bit and think it through. Addiction also seems to be a distraction. I often ask myself when I feel like I NEED something, what is really going on around me? Am I avoiding something, am I unhappy, is it stress? What then is the real solution? Another cookie? Probably not. A walk or a chat with someone or tackling a project usually is the answer. It is funny, because with too much sugar, it is very difficult to see through this.

No such thing as a "bit" of an addiction. If you have one cookie and cannot stop that is an addiction. A carb addiction and it is just as tough to fight as if it was alcohol or drugs, harder even because we are faced with food every day of our lives.
