After one week of being mindful of my food. Can you see a difference?

You need to remember that at your weight it may really take 50+ pounds maybe more before a real difference is visibly noticed. The important thing is that you know you are doing it and it will become noticeable soon. Don’t get down about it or upset. You just have to have realistic expectations. Your doing great— just keep it up. We are with you.

Ditto what Kenna said. whether we see a change or not, it's still happening, the picture update is a great idea. You are doing great, just keep going. 💪

Thank you so much. I stared and studied the two pictures. I see a difference. Not big, but it is there. My arms are the biggest difference.

I started at your exact weight last year around this time. I started by cutting all wheat products and limited my carbs. It wasn't Keto at that point, I was just cutting back on all grains and I dropped 14lbs before I joined FS. I'm not saying to do Keto but it's worked for me. Unless you are doing intense gym training or working heavyduty construction/field labor, you don't need that many carbs. Us big guys just pack those carbs away. :) Anyway, keep going and remember the end goal. You can do it.

Yep...when you are obese it takes a pretty big number to be really noticeable. I started at 284 lbs and am now 263 lbs. I can't tell a difference by looking in the mirror. Some of my clothes fit more loosely, however. I think that is what you will probably notice first. Hang in there. You didn't gain this weight overnight, it will take time to come off. With me, patience is the hardest...I want all this weight off now! Lol. You are doing great. My boyfriend just started on keto and he weighs the exact same as you.

I was 301 to start and I couldn't really see a difference until I was about 260. The biggest changes that happen first are all on the inside. It's natural to want to SEE it, but it's not about how you look, it's about how you FEEL.
