So far so good - despite the 'fly by the pants' week I'm having!! My 5 year old is still home with me, he's probably well enough for school really but the school is closed tomorrow due to local elections anyway so I thought it best to keep him home today. Best to get over it properly and go back at full health.

Anyway, we ended up going out for dinner after my dh got home last night but we just headed for subway. I'm still avoiding the bread so I had a veggie delite salad bowl and it was lovely. Harry wanted an ice cream from McDonalds on the way back but I stood strong and had a coffee instead. I was very proud!

This morning I do feel better and as if I'm back on track although the imminant arrival of Aunt Flo isn't helping. Still, I'm doing OK and I'm determined to stick to it!

Just arranged to go to see a friend tomorrow and go to the playbarn with Harry. That will probably involve having lunch there so I'd better be on my best behaviour! Either a baked potato or soup I think :)

Oh well, have a good day everyone!

Great willpower at Subway! Those salads are really good too. You are wise to plan ahead on your day for tomorrow for your outing. Keep up the great work! Have a wonderful Wednesday!

You're doing so well! Well done with the willpower and sticking to your guns about the "no bread" experiment. And you came away from McDonalds without a McFlurry in hand. That's fantastic! Aunt Flo sure gets around. She's currently using my uterus as a punching bag... ouch :( I hope she's nicer to you! Good luck at the playbarn. Pack some healthy snacks for yourself to help you keep on track. Have a wonderful day!

Well I buggered up on the 'no bread' this evening. Ended up having beans on toast for dinner. Well within points - I think I have 9 left!!! I haven't felt any disasters in terms of bloating yet but I'm not planning on going heavy on the bread front. I'm still avoiding it wherever possible. Still got the little one at home - I'm just starting to go round the bend and up the walls......Maybe he will be in school on Friday after all!!! lol

Great willpower at McDonald's... that's fantastic! So well done on only having a coffee. Glad to hear that the bread didn't have any bloating effects - it maybe that if you only eat now and then and don't have too much in one day that it will be fine. :o)
