Well i gained 2 lbs and i am so bummed out- i have been following phase 3 by the book and i am gaining instead of losing!I am backon phase 1 starting yesterday so maybe it will help-I'm ready to go have that banana split I have been craving for 6 weeks!i had an egg for breakfast and and apple & Yogart for lunch(not for phase 1 but i love fruit) and I will have turkey for dinner!
54.9 kg Lost so far: 4.5 kg.    Still to go: 2.7 kg.    Diet followed: Poorly.

keep in mind that your weight will fluctuate depending where you are in the month, but i totally know what you mean...i found that even when i went into phase two that weight loss slowed down and even started creeping back on. B/c your weight is on the lower side anyhow, my suggestion is maybe to start focusing on calories. of course stick to the guidelines of south beach, but if you can find out how many calories a day you should be having to maintain your weight, then try to cut out i think they say 500 a day to have that gradual weight loss, things should work out. and heck, if you play your cards right, you could maybe share a banana split with your hubby! keep up the good work!!!

thanks jessika for the advise i think i will try to find out how many calories i should be having a day!

A one day fast (or juice fast) can be a very powerful tool. If one drinks a lot of water it's usually safe for most and not really hard to do. I find it useful for dealing immediately with situations where I find myself having gained a few pounds. I know it sounds too radical. Anyway, you have done a great job and I'm sure you can handle it.
