I am doing better than ever on my diet...I guess I just really had to get sick and tired of being sick and tired with my body before I could really commit to making a difference in myself...it was that way with drugs too. I hate to admit, I'm often hard headed and obstinate...I always said I get it from my Puerto Rican roots...but that's no excuse to be fat.

The thing that's really on my mind today, is how to maximize my weight loss. I despise walking, since I "walk" all day at work...I want something fun and energizing, something I don't dread doing. I know I have to exercise...but what can I do to burn this fat off even quicker without money for a gym membership or an inability to commit to walking b/c I HATE IT SO MUCH???

If anyone could help...I'd like your input =)

I, too, do not have money for a gym membership. I have a yoga tape which I like to pull out here and there-especially when my back isn't feeling great. It really helps my posture. I skip out on the meditation stuff, just do the exercises. When I walk, I carry a bag and pick up trash around the neighborhood or I talk to God about whatever I am worried about or thankful for. Both activities give me a sense of purpose and make the walking secondary. By the way, I have appreciated your input on the site, it is helping me along.

Try different types of DVDs/videos. They have all sorts. I just got a dance mix one that I am going to ry and hope it is more fun than exercise.
