Fasting a.m. BS = 170; weight 176. Rats! I expected a loss, not a gain. Today I spent about 7 hours getting my raised beds ready to plant, 3 this morning and four in the afternoon. That exercise should help weight loss! Bending, lifting compost bags, hoeing, pulling weeds, moving and resetting concrete blocks and bricks I use for borders. Every muscle in my body is incredibly sore! Temp today was a beautiful 79 degrees -- Thursday will be rainy with a high of 50 degrees -- that's Texas. Sunburn on Monday and wear a coat again on Thursday! But my gardens are ready to plant. I even extended one plot by four feet!

You... you wear a coat in 50 degree weather? Dang... that's shorts and a light jacket weather. :):) Perhaps you just drank a bit more water working out yesterday and have a bit on and that's why you have a gain?

Hey newgrl, that is a high of 50! Otherwise, morning in the 30s! I know I drank lots more water, so maybe that's the problem. But Yesterday I worked soooooo hard and went up to 176.5 this morning! Maybe I didn't drink enough water.

Fair enough. I was just making a small joke. It isn't like I'm not in Kansas, where it was 64 on Sunday and... it ain't no more. :)

newgrl, I really feel for people in the frigid states! I can't imagine how hard it must be to face those low temps!! We may gripe and joke in Texas about 70 degrees one day and 20-30 the next, but I, for one, am so happy I don't have to plan for sub-zero day after day! Stay warm!
