The Chinese was lovely last night...if a bit naughty on the points front...there was enough left over for a meal each... I've just had mine for lunch today. I believe that if you are going to have a bigger meal you are better having it for lunch so that you have more time to work it off. So it's gone. In all honesty there wasn't as much as I though so I'll just stick to soup or beans on toast for lunch. It has thrown me a little as I have no idea how to point it so I'm a bit off kilter but I will be fine as long as I'm careful the rest of the day.

I've also just agreed to take my son to a playbarn after school tomorrow, which is fine, but the whole food and eating away from home rears it's head again. I still find this so so difficult that it makes me want to stay home instead but I can't make my son into a hermit just because his Mummy wants to lose weight.... I'm sure I'll figure a way around it.....

Have a lovely Thursday eveyone :)

I am sure the Chinese food didn't do any permanent damage and you enjoyed it so it was worth it. I imagine the playbarn has the completely non-diet-friendly menu of fries, hot dogs, hamburger, pizza, etc. Just try to eat something before you go and maybe you can get by. Keep some carrot sticks in your purse for extra ammunition in case you need it! Enjoy your day!

Aw, I can sympathise as the eating out malarkey can be quite a nightmare especially when it comes to trying to point it. I'm sure here in the UK they purposely put extra calories in our food just to make things difficult for us! The look of food can often be deceptive too which doesn't help matters. Don't worry too much though... I've found that if we can be good most of the time, eating out doesn't do any major harm. It's great that you're now doing exercise as that really will help any "extra" calories too. I have taken a gamble this week and actually upped my food intake... not sure I'm calculating all my workouts to the right intensity, but so far it seems to be ok. You keep up the great work though and that scale can only go down. ;o)
