Morning all,
I am enjoying a quiet house this morning. I stayed up late watching a movie and was determined to sleep in but sure enough, I was up and out of bed at about 7am. My inner alarm clock is set so I figure I should just go with it. I also got in a really tough Firm strength training workout. It was a new one I hadn't done before and I really liked it even though I am feeling sore already.
The past few months, I have been shying away from strength training and doing pretty much all cardio. This month I decided I would try and do 3-4 strength training workouts a week with 2-3 cardio and I notice a really big difference already. It really does lean you out, I just need to stay off the scale for now, and pay attention to my measurements. When I take my measurements on Tuesday, I may just weigh-in for curiosity but I need to not let it bug me if it doesn't say what I want it to:)

I know what you mean- Days I can sleep in, I Can't. Sounds like a great plan, Tone up and don't let scale bother you- Well Good Luck and take care before kids get home.

I hear you as well...my internal alarm clock is great and if it is a few minutes off, the dog will get me up! I am also enjoying some free and alone time...working on an employee review for work, watching some stupid television and enjoying some coffee! We should take it when we can!

I am right there with you. Stupid me didn't do my measurements in the beginning so I can't see how far I've come. All I know is I'm in a size 6 now and I started in a 10-12. That's pretty exciting. I think I need to forget about the scale and just see how my clothes look. Good luck with the strength training and keep us updated with your results!!
