Well, we totally stopped our 5 day a month fasting last summer. I only had 10 to 15 lbs. left to loose to get to my goal weight. I had lost 25 lbs. Well, you guessed it, I gained 10 lbs. back since then. Hard for me to watch what I eat when I am bombarded with goodies coming into the house. You can imagine Steve in retirement and how he loves to cook! Thank heavens, he decided we needed to watch what we eat again. We have only been into two days of fasting (really just keeping calories well below maintenance) and I lost 2 lbs. already. I expect to loose a pound per day for 5 days, then I will put some back on next weekend. But, if I just don't totally pig-out, I will keep two or three of 5 pounds off until next month when I loose another 5 pounds from fasting, and the cycle continues as long as we stick to it until goal weight.
