I know all too well how frustrating this experience is to you...but there are so many cute hairstyles available - just match one up w/ the shortest cut and move on. Your daughter and you will feel soooo much better about this if you just "be the duck". (let water or life, roll off your back) My episode involved a brother, a barbie and "hairstyle" training school in the land of make believe.... it does grow back, thank God. Oh, and take lots of pictures...you'll laugh about this 10 years from now, I promise! 

Lol! I gave myself a haircut before my mom had a photographer come to take pictures of me and my sisters. I still laugh when I see my crooked bangs. It will grow back. 

I cut my own bangs the day before my 1st grade pictures. They were so short no one could fix them. My mom treasured that picture, I hated it..LOL...now I think it is rather darling. 

Isn't your hair short? Maybe she just wanted short hair like mommy? I also cut my bangs when I was little the hair dresser just grinned and fixed it. 

I adore her hair. My mother always ruined my hair cutting it myself and when I had a little girl I said she would have lovely long hair and she loves it too. When I saw a big clump in her hand 7 inches long I was horrified! I have calmed down now and think that she'll actually look quite nice with a bit of a feathered fringe! Little sod. And No I never cut my own hair when I was little! I so wanted it long! 

I had my first haircut in my highchair by my then 8 year old sister, I hid behind the couch for hours...lol. My sister however went on to be a hairdresser and a good one..lol. 

well...good thing it grows! maybe that feathered fringe will be perfect for the summer :)
