Something I just realized.. Before I decided to commit to this new eating/exercise lifestyle I would try to work out every so often. Whenever I was feeling overly fat (yeah like there's such a thing at 225) I would go walking and try to eat right for a couple of days. As soon as I'd see success, I'd be like "Hey! I lost a pound..or two! I'm going to treat myself with some hot wings and beer" or whatever other thing I was craving. Basically, I would sabotage myself and gain the weight right back and some. Well, it's been a month now, and the urge to do that just kind of...left. I don't know what happened, but I just don't want to binge like crazy any more. Today I had yet to have eaten dinner, and was thinking about making a grilled cheese sandwich. But then I thought about how I always feel after eating one of those. I want another, because it doesn't fill me up and it's so easy to eat. So instead I decided to make my shrimp salad, which filled me up and was actually good for me. Then I went biking. I'm so so happy with myself. Good job me :)
