It's Thursday! I did see a miniscule drop in my weight but I'm going to wait for at least a full pound off before posting the loss. I'm drinking tons of water today. Yesterday for dinner I only had half what I normally have as a serving. My lunches are healthy b/c I plan ahead for them. Today is blueberries, banana, low fat vanilla yogurt, and string cheese. I'm going to try to find a good shrimp recipe online for dinner tonight and pair it with a bunch of fresh veggies I cut up last night. I know what needs to be done and I just need to DO IT ALREADY. :)

I'm so glad this was a short week. This Tuesday coming up is Salem's 29th birthday. We are going to celebrate by taking a half day from work, going to Chickie's n Pete's for lunch, and then we splurged on great seats for the Phillies game. 8 rows back from our absolute favorite player, Ryan Howard. We even named our dog "Howie" after him.

This weekend we are going to one of my good friend's house for a BBQ in Central Jersey. I finally, finally, FINALLY get to meet her little baby girl, who at this point is almost 9 months old!!! She's pretty much an organic health nut (the mom, not the baby of course) so I'm not worried about food there.

I am the worst exerciser in the world. I have no motivation. I have bought several work out DVDs, but as soon as I get home from work I check the internet or get on the phone and hours go by and then I decide it's too late, I'm too tired, etc. Does anyone have any tips on how I can get myself in gear?!?! What do you do to motivate yourselves? I feel like SUCH A SLACKER in that regard.

I signed up for my fall classes last night. I decided not to let the C+ in Taxation get me down. I signed up for Estate and Gift Taxation for the upcoming semester. If at first you don't succeed, try, try again right?

Isn't planning ahead great?! You just have to have a plan on what you want to eat (Healthy) when going food shopping, and your set for the week - its great! I didn't realize you guys were so young - Salem is pretty much my age - I'll be turning 30 this coming August. Where in Central Jersey are you going - thats where I am! As far as getting your exercise done - JUST DO IT!!! Thats all there is to it - maybe make yourself a schedule, and STICK TO IT. Have a good one!!!!

My trick for getting in exercise is to do it first thing in the morning. I stumble out of bed, into my exercise clothes and just do it. If I waited until I got home from work it would probably NEVER happen!!!

Lol... he's the young one in our relationship. I'm 2 and a half years older (and wiser haha) than him. I need an exercise schedule. I have schedules for everything else, might as well try an exercise one!!! Moose, I think you are on to something w/ the morning workouts! Oh and our friends live in Bridgewater.

Come on down! We love it~ especially the giant beer things! Those cheese fries get me every time though~ I can't just have one!!! We even go to the one in the airport every time we fly somewhere, even if's way far away from our gate lol.

I don't really know where Bridgewater is, and I've never heard of Chickie & Pete's..... so sad..... Pete and Eldas - thats a great pizza place / bar that I TRIED to get to the girls to go to last night, but alas, Surf Taco won out. Probably better it did - after eating ST, I woke up having lost weight - I don't think pizza would have done that for me! Have a great weekend!!!!

I think, yeah, exercising in the am is the best way to just get it done. As Moose said, if you're half asleep you don't even register that you're doing it till you're half way done. Bridgewater--my first boyfriend was from there. Sounds like it'll be fun. Do you have a grill--outside or stovetop? I made this really yummy grilled shrimp a few times. The seasonings were cayenne, cumin, salt, garlic. Yum. Nice and spicy. May have been from Cooking Light.

Yeah Momo aren't you are shore girl? Bridgewater's smack in the middle. Near Flemington. A whole bunch of my college friends lived in Brick and Toms River. I bet you've heard of those places! :)

Bridgewater is up NORTH! LOL not Central Jersey at all. Please, don't get Momo and I tied up in the semantics of North, Central, and South Jersey. We'd fight for days! To put it mildly, Momo is about 40 minutes south of me, and it would take me about 30-40 minutes to get to Bridgewater, and trust me, I'm smack dab in the middle of the state, well just east to west, not east to west and north to south :)

Lol... really?? I'm not a NJ native but my friends always say they are from Central, and think places like Bergen Co. is North Jersey.

Chris I exercise in the morning. I know I would never do it at night on a regular basis....If I had a bad day at work or was tired I would just make excuses. As soon as my alarm goes off I am off to the tv. Try it once you get used to it you will notice you feel awesome the whole morning.

Chris- just make yourself do it!!! the videos work- i had my doubts about slim and 6- but i am going into week 4- and after 2 weeks i did my measurements- have a look on my bio- i took off alot of inches in just 2 weeks! you can do it- keep journalling and we will be here to support you;) have a great weekend, and happy birthday to you hubby!
