I'm scared to weigh myself!!! We had delicious steaks yesterday and that is just the tip of the iceberg... I have no one to blame for my weight but myself.
I was trying to trim up one of my dogs' ears so I wouldn't have to blow $50+ bucks at PetSmart yesterday getting him groomed and ended up chopping a good piece of my ring finger off. Ya, it was pretty disgusting! But not muscle or anything so Salem just wrapped it for me and we put ice on it. I'm scared to see what it looks like w/ no bandaid!
Today I found I'm being moved to a different work team. I don't mind except for a former friend of mine's bf is on that team and he and I don't get along. Long story short~ I yelled at her for being w/ a guy who is violent when he drinks, she cut me out of her life, and he's creepy to have to be around. Sigh. Such is life.
On Friday I found out one of my grades from last semester (Temple Law is incredibly slow w/ grades). I almost cried at work when I saw it. C+. In my favorite class, the one I thought was going to be my "major" in law school (taxation). It really sucks to put forth your best effort, and then just do mediocre. It definitely makes me question my intelligence. My brother tried to cheer me up (he's also in law school) by saying "A students are professors, B students are judges, and C students are millionaires". I'll believe that when I see it. ;)
Okay I need to shake off the attrocity that has been the past week of my life and focus on the positive!
THREE THINGS I'M GRATEFUL FOR TODAY:
1) Finished reading a good book yesterday
2) Amended my taxes for an extra $700 bucks the IRS owes me
3) Having such an awesome place to vent!
I could not find any good deals to post for today~ hopefully I'll have better luck tomorrow.

Goodness - better be more carefull with those clippers!!! I remember once I was clipping my dogs nails, and I clipped them to short, and she was bleeding all over the place - Evan ended up duct taping a sock to her paw, and she was OK after that! LOL As far as your steak - we all need our protien, so don't worry about it, I'm sure you'll be just fine. Have a good one buddy!!!

Oh yucky! Just the description of the laceration of your finger makes me want to gag! It's funny that I work in a Blood Bank, but I can't stand the sight of an open wound.
Sorry about the C+. I completely understand. I got a C in my favorite class in college which was Genetics. I couldn't believe it either! It really made me doubt what I wanted to do for a career, but it all worked out in the end. :)

Chris so sorry you hurt yourself and that you are disappointed in your grade. School is tough. Don't worry you will do it. Hope you are having a great night. By th way how is the slim in 6 going?
